The HOT & COLD Postpartum Compress supports your recovery after childbirth. It is made of a soft and flexible material that conforms to the body. A reusable cover is included.

WARM AND COLD
Depending on your needs, you can use the compress as a warm or cold compress. The cooling postpartum pad provides relief after a cesarean section or perineal tear, while the warming one soothes abdominal pain and uterine contractions.

Warm:

Heating

• Remove the pad from the outer cover.
• Place the pad in the microwave (600 W - 25 seconds, 385 W - 40 seconds). Remember to distribute the gel pad evenly.
• Replace the cover.

Cooling

• Remove the pad from the outer cover.
• Place the compress in the freezer (for approximately 2 hours). Remember to keep it away from food. Distribute the gel pad evenly.
• Replace the cover.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not puncture the packaging with sharp objects or apply excessive pressure to it. Do not strike or step on the packaging. If the gel pack is damaged, torn, or cracked, discontinue use and throw it in the trash. If the product cracks, avoid contact with eyes and skin. If the liquid comes into contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If the gel pack contents are accidentally swallowed, drink plenty of water, try to induce vomiting, and consult a doctor if necessary. Do not apply directly to bleeding skin or to injuries with signs of inflammation. Do not apply hot/cold gel packs directly to the skin, especially straight from the microwave or refrigerator. If you have circulatory problems, consult a doctor before use. Clean gel packs regularly in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Allow to air dry. Store in a cool, dry place.
